As always, the question is, how do I import eBay listings to Etsy? It’s a Step by Step Process, which we summarize here:
Import eBay listings to Etsy: Selection of Product Organization (Step 1)
Seems like this simple step is also the most confusing. Most eBay Sellers have an eBay Store Subscription. Your eBay Store has custom categories that you have created. When we ask how you want to map to Etsy, you must choose between the eBay Listing Category and the eBay Store Category. Of course, the second choice only applies if you have an eBay Store Subscription. If you don’t, in all cases, choose eBay Listing Category.
Most of all is the meat of the issue. You have 100 eBay Products, spread across 10 listing categories. You also have an eBay Store, with 4 custom categories. These must be mapped into Etsy ones. Do you want to map 4 categories or 10?
Import eBay listings to Etsy: Mapping (Step 2)
Here on the left side, each Category is shown, and if a map exists (edit mode) the current mapping is shown. As a result, the example shows that eBay Listing Category Health&Beauty -> Fragrances -> Women is mapped to Etsy Category: Accessories -> Costume Accessories -> Costume Hats & Headpieces. In the table of Etsy Listings, select a new Category, fill out all the fields, and select “Map”. As a result, esa Product Manager will confirm these choices are acceptable to Etsy and let you know the result.
Search for a Category
Especially relevant, the Ctrl-F keyboard combination works in all major browsers. Just type Ctrl-F and the search word, for example “Health”. Therefore, you can scroll through the choices to quickly see what categories Etsy offers.
